WHAT WE LOVE...

Tregarthen's is perfectly positioned on St Mary's - the largest of the five inhabited islands of the archipelago - located yards from the historic quay, overlooking the harbour and boasting panoramic vistas across to the islands of Bryher, Sampson, Tresco and St Martin's. With its individually styled bedrooms, large light-filled conservatory, local food and drink offering and plenty of outdoor seating, it's hard to imagine a more comfortable base from which to explore the islands. Steeped in fascinating history, the main hotel entrance takes you onto the Garrison Hill where you can explore the ancient fortifications. There are also six self-catering holiday cottages at the water's edge, along with five lodges, situated right in front of the sea wall - perfectly positioned to enjoy your freshly prepared breakfast hamper!
