Hotel Review
Rhinefield House, Brockenhurst, New Forest
From the moment you turn into Rhinefield's ornamental drive - with its giant redwood trees and colourful rhododendrons - you begin to realise you're heading somewhere special. Then the impressive turreted mock-Tudor manor house appears. Inside you'll find elaborate interiors too, including the bejewelled Alhambra room, created as a miniature version of the Alhambra palace in Grenada. In fine weather you can enjoy the extensive gardens and the sheltered outdoor swimming pool, along with games of croquet on the lawn; in wet weather retreat to the health club for spa treatments and use of the indoor pool and gym. The menu in the wood-panelled Armada restaurant uses plenty of local produce, with venison and rabbit on the a la carte menu.

Style & Character
It's the perfect place for romancing couples who love romps in the forest. The pièce de résistance is the ornate Alhambra room, which is encrusted in mosaic, with Venetian glass, beaten copper and Prussian onyx to look like the Islamic palace in Grenada.
