Hotel Review
The Cow Hollow Hotel, Manchester
In Manchester's Northern Quarter, this cool boutique hotel offers plenty of thoughtful extras for guests. There's free prosecco and nibbles early evening, and milk and cookies waiting when you get back from a night out. Many of the original features in the former textile warehouse have been restored and kept - expect exposed brick, marble fireplaces and sash windows - and rooms, while small, have everything couples or friends on a city break will need. There's free Netflix if you'd like to kick back and relax, and hair styling kits are a nice touch should a night out be on the cards. The downside to the hotel's location is that there can be some street noise at night - but earplugs are provided.
