WHAT WE LOVE...

This is a stylish and luxurious five-star hotel overlooking St Stephen's Green and in the heart of the south city centre's shops, cafés, museums, pubs and restaurants. Inside the hotel, the subtle use of colour and geometric patterns in the décor in both the public areas and guest rooms add warmth and personality and service is top notch. There is a fine-dining restaurant on the first floor and a more informal pub on the ground floor, and you can also have afternoon tea in the lobby or bar. There's a courtyard to the rear of the hotel and a small gym, and the hotel is connected to an underground car park. The hotel is also directly opposite the Luas tram stop at St Stephen's Green.

Style & Character

Anyone who appreciates style and luxury and likes being somewhere cosy in the city centre will enjoy it here. The geometric carpets and use of colour in bedrooms, hallways and the lobby area add style and personality, and are a nice change from the generic décor of many chain hotels.

We loved the valet parking and evening turn-down service with chocolates.

Food & Drink

We enjoyed the great wine list and little amuse bouche treats between courses at Glovers Alley. Our favourite dish was the wild sea bass with brassicas and langoustine bisque.

Glovers Alley: Michelin-starred restaurant, refined dining, Irish produce. Open for lunch Thu-Sat and dinner Tue-Sat. Tasting menu from €135.
The Inn on the Green: contemporary Irish pub. Open daily for all-day dining, afternoon tea and drinks.
