Hotel Review
Grace, Mykonos, Greece
Established in 2007, this pretty, plush, down to earth spa hotel situated by Ágios Stéfanos cove makes an ideal base if you want somewhere quiet and tranquil yet also minutes from the action of Chora, aka Mykonos Town. It offers minimalist, unfussy décor, friendly, efficient service and an attractive bar, restaurant and pool area. The pool isn't that big, but creates a lovely setting for enjoying an expertly-made cocktail or one of the impressive dishes. There's a great spa and a gym (although that's being refurbished at present). A number of the 32 comfortable, contemporary rooms have terraces and hot tubs or plunge pools.
THE DETAILS
Location
The tranquility of the area is a great contrast to the boisterousness elsewhere on the island. However, this means it's very quiet at night so you may need to budget for taxis.
The hotel is located above Ágios Stéfanos beach, while the port is 10 minutes' walk away.
By plane: flights from London and Manchester take under 4 hours. It's less than a 15-minute drive from the airport. Free on-site parking. skyscanner.net
