Hotel Review
The Kensington, Kensington & Chelsea, London
You will find style at every turn at The Kensington, which with its white stucco facade sits proudly on Queen's Gate. Comprising four 19th-century townhouses, and part of the highly regarded Doyle Collection, the hotel manages to be both chic, creative and comfortable as it blends Victorian grandeur with a subtle modernity. With its convenient location, elegant, statement public rooms, such as the lovely Drawing Room and the White Room, inviting bedrooms - some have roll-top baths - and the excellent, three-room Townhouse Restaurant, offering a British-based menu, The Kensington ticks numerous boxes for a stay in one of London most desirable areas. And the delicious afternoon tea is well worth making time for.

Perfect for anyone with a sense of style and fondness for things done just right; its location makes it very popular. There's a sense of panache in the hugely stylish Drawing Room and White Room with their pastel colours, artwork and fireplaces.

Visit the Juicery at breakfast for a smoothie or protein shot, and sample imaginative cocktails in the K Bar. We loved the delicious breakfasts and the chicken breast with pumpkin pistou cooked on the Josper grill.
